Our mission
Highway 1 Foundation brings the car community together in Monterey and beyond, using a shared passion for cars to make a positive impact. Through our events, including Cars & Coffee at Del Monte Center, we create welcoming gatherings while supporting charitable causes and giving back to those in need.

Located at Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, California, Cars & Coffee brings car enthusiasts together to celebrate automotive culture. From supercars and exotics to sports cars and classics, the event attracts enthusiasts from across the region. In partnership with Highway 1 Foundation, each gathering not only showcases incredible vehicles but also gives back to the community.
We are a group of friends who share a passion for cars and wanted to turn that enthusiasm into something meaningful. That’s why we created Cars and Coffee at Del Monte Center and launched our own nonprofit, Highway 1 Foundation. Our goal is to bring together car enthusiasts from Monterey and across California to connect, share experiences, and celebrate automotive culture. Through Highway 1 Foundation, we are able to fund the car show and support charitable initiatives, giving back to those in need with every event. We aim to create a welcoming environment where car lovers of all kinds can come together, build lasting connections, and enjoy experiences that benefit both the automotive community and the broader community.
